I bring 39 years of experience as a registered representative in Colorado Springs to my work with individuals, small business owners/employees and nonprofit organizations in support of their financial needs. I have developed my team of colleagues over time with a clear set of priorities in mind: client education, investment management, and life planning and support. In 2020 my team and I joined Raymond James.
A 1977 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in economics, I also completed coursework toward an MBA in finance and accounting at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. When the opportunity presented itself, I set those studies aside in 1981 in order to change my career focus from banking to guiding investors with their long-term investment and life goals.
I currently serve on the capital campaign committee for Early Connections Learning Centers of Colorado Springs (formerly Child Nursery Centers), an organization committed to offering comprehensive, high-quality early care and education for all children. Over the years I have also supported local nonprofits such as Capital Sisters International, Citizen’s Project, Care and Share, the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, TESSA of Colorado Springs, Inside/Out Youth Services, the Fine Arts Center, CASA, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
Away from the office I enjoy a good laugh with friends, playing golf, listening to music, reading for pleasure, hiking in the Garden of the Gods, playing piano and traveling. A lover of “four-leggeds,” I have evolved from being a dog’s “master” to the “staff” for my two cats, Ilsa and Little One. Oh, AND I make a mean guacamole!
Raymond James is not affiliated with any organizations mentioned.
