Mike Kanner is a Financial Advisor and Investment Executive with Raymond James. He has also earned the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist CRPS® designation which enables him to help design and maintain corporate retirement plans including 401(k) plans.
Mike graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. While in college, he completed an internship with Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. and he also traveled throughout Europe. While in Europe, he studied the European transition from independent currencies to the Euro.
After graduation, Mike began his career with Edward Jones Investments in the St. Louis, Missouri headquarters where he entered a two-year broker training program. After completion of the program Mike decided to start his career as a Financial Advisor in Vero Beach, Florida.
After seven years with Edward Jones in Vero Beach, Mike decided to take his business to the local Morgan Stanley office where he co-founded the Leyda Kanner Group and in 2019 joined Raymond James.
Mike moved to Vero Beach in 2003, and he enjoys spending time on his farm with his wife Cami and a variety of animals. Mike is a supporter numerous national and local charities.
