As a financial advisor, Scott considers himself an advocate for his clients. He delivers client-first service rooted in integrity and designed to help his clientele meet their near-term needs and long-term goals. Through his knowledgeable guidance, emphasis on planning and personalized investing strategies, Scott helps clients address every important matter money touches.
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2020 – a firm he admires for its focus on clients and state-of-the-art products and resources – Scott worked as a financial advisor and vice president of investments with Wells Fargo Advisors for nearly a decade. He also spent years working in banks, originating and closing countless mortgage loans, as well as managing loan producers and extensive commercial loan books. Now that he’s an advisor, Scott draws from his diverse financial experience to provide clients with the holistic service they deserve.
Scott holds a B.A. in business administration and finance from Kalamazoo College. He’s an active member of his community and served as a volunteer firefighter for 13 years before retiring as a lieutenant. Volunteering aside, Scott enjoys golfing, skiing and mountain biking.
Originally from Niles, Michigan, Scott has lived and worked in Roaring Fork Valley for over 27 years. He makes his home in Basalt, Colorado, with his wife, Susan, and their children, Grace, Ryan and Dawson.
