Keysha, a Marine “brat,” was born in Camp Pendleton, California. Colorado became her home in her early teens when her father concluded his service with the Marine Corps. She fell in love with the state during her teen years and locked in the decision to stay when she met her Colorado native husband Brett. She has never looked back on her decision to call Colorado her home.
Professionally, Keysha has almost 2 decades in the financial services industry. She has been in the trenches for two of the greatest market corrections we’ve experienced during our lives. While working her way up from a receptionist role in 2000, she has attained a very respectable array of security licenses. She currently holds her 7, 66, 9, and 10 FINRA licenses. She is a lifetime learner and has served in almost every support position as she has moved up in roles and responsibilities. She has faithfully served her clients and her team as a Registered Associate, a Chairmen’s council client resolutions specialist, an Operations Manager, even serving in a supervisory capacity for a large wirehouse branch with 25 advisors. Her commitment to personal growth and relationship building has taken her to temporary posts in several Colorado locations and even a period in Knoxville, TN.
Over time, and with ever-growing and more meaningful relationships with clients, Keysha developed a strong desire to work with a team focused on bringing their clients an extraordinary experience while helping them plan for and meet their current and future financial goals. This desire to find that intersection of success for clients, a fulfilling team experience, and an organization committed to being a community steward led her to Impact Financial Strategies in July of 2019. Keysha has made an immediate and profound difference with everyone she works with as well bringing her knowledge and understanding to remove obstacles and enhance the client experience.
When she’s not in the office, Keysha supports various nonprofit organizations, including Realities for Children and the Cancer League of Colorado. She is involved in the fight against hunger, and volunteers as well as the Larimer and Weld county food banks as often as she can. Family, the outdoors, and Colorado sports are how she spends her downtime. She is often engaged in camping or fishing in the Colorado mountains and Wyoming plains, or can be found enjoying nature on the back of her husband’s Harley Davidson Ultra Limited motorcycle. The Denver Broncos and Colorado Eagles games are something she attends as often as possible. Keysha’s greatest joy and pastime, however, is every moment she gets to spend with her two grandchildren.
