Dan brings to the organization more than 15 years of experience in helping his clients make sound financial decisions over evolving market cycles. His practice is family-centric, while utilizing a team approach to helping people pursue their important life goals. He specializes in serving the needs of retirees and business owners by helping them navigate the emotional highs and lows of investing. “It’s not just about the destination, it’s about the journey together,” Dan says.
Dan believes in building deep relationships with clients that lead to meaningful conversations, and feels very fortunate to be in an industry where he can directly help others with what is important to them.
Dan joined Raymond James in 2019, drawn by its client-first culture and emphasis on personal relationships, which he witnessed firsthand when his father worked for the firm when Dan was young. Dan’s background includes nearly a decade as an advisor with Wells Fargo, as well as similar roles at UBS and Legg Mason. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
Dan is very active in Tampa Bay’s business and philanthropic communities. Since 2006, he has served as past president and currently on the board of directors for the Bay Area Advisors, a local nonprofit group of like-minded entrepreneurs and industry leaders that host the annual charity event “Martinis for Moffitt.” Since inception, the event has raised more than $1.8 million for Moffitt Cancer Center.
Originally from Albany, New York, Dan now makes his home in Lakewood Ranch with his wife, Sara, and their two children, Logan and Elyse. Dan enjoys golfing, skiing, coaching, traveling and running.
