Since 1982, Chris has worked closely with clients to develop strategies that help them pursue their financial goals. He strives to provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice and portfolio management delivered with the highest level of personal service and professional integrity.
Chris works with local San Diego companies to assist their employees with stock option exercise programs, providing their employees with guidance and education. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, he has completed a rigorous and comprehensive program, which covers the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance. A lifelong learner, Chris enjoys continuously learning about a wide variety of subjects related to the business of investing, channeling that curiosity to help his clients.
Before joining Raymond James in 2018, Chris was a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, Wachovia Securities, A.G. Edwards & Sons and E.F. Hutton. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at San Diego.
In his spare time, Chris loves to fly-fish in the beautiful rivers of Montana and Northern California and to snowboard with his sons, Zack and Connor, on Mammoth Mountain. He and his wife, Kelley, enjoy traveling to wine country in Santa Ynez and Paso Robles and taking hikes with friends and family in the beautiful local parks of San Diego County. Chris is a personal fitness advocate and also enjoys reading fiction along with a wide variety of books on investing, business, philosophy, and health and nutrition.
The son of a Marine Corps officer, Chris was born in Quantico, Virginia, and lived mostly on the East Coast before moving to California in 1975. He has lived in San Diego County since 1977.
