BRAD MEHL, CFP®
VP, Partner; 1792 WA Sr. Wealth Advisor; RJFS

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Brad Mehl specializes in helping clients define and achieve their life goals. He believes that every client is unique, and he works with each to create and implement a customized financial plan that reflects the many aspects of their personal lives, including children and their aspirations for them; short-, mid- and long-term financial goals, such as college and retirement; and tolerance for risk.

Only after building this personal relationship and fully educating clients to help enable them to make informed decisions does he help them design the balanced financial plan designed to carry them toward their goals for tomorrow.

Brad is committed to adding value to the lives of his clients. His concern for their well-being is enhanced by his philosophy of combining thoroughness with creativity. In offering a broad platform of financial products, he helps to provide suitable options for each client’s needs. By approaching each of those needs creatively, he often sees options that deliver flexibility and seeks to preserve their long-term interests. Brad works in a team environment that enhances his resources in serving his clients and allows him to deliver full wealth management and the level of thoroughness and creativity they deserve.

Brad’s greatest reward is seeing a client achieve a goal he helped them define and work toward. Reflective of the strong relationships he maintains with each client, he grows his business entirely through referrals.

Brad earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College for Financial Planning in 2008 and has worked in the financial planning industry since 2001. He holds Series 7, 66 and 3 securities licenses, and is also licensed in life and health insurance.

Continuing education has always been an integral component of Brad honing his craft. Now as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, he ties together his in-depth knowledge and comprehensive menu of products and services to deliver customized and balanced planning in the areas of insurance, investment, estate planning and taxes while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism. He worked with The SVS Team at Morgan Stanley, which is part of the Global Sports and Entertainment division of Morgan Stanley.

Brad began his career at Merrill Lynch before moving to CitiStreet, where he helped employees of hospitals and nonprofits plan their retirement investments. At Dreyfus, he worked directly with financial planners, providing the products and services to enable them to serve their clients. His time at UBS allowed him to return to working directly with clients, where his passion lies, and he joined Morgan Stanley in 2009. This diverse background enables Brad to provide his clients with a broad level of expertise. Brad is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Brad believes in bringing added value to the community, as well. He is active within the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the Ambassador Committee, an advisory arm for the chamber.
